Resogun Defenders Coming to PlayStation 4 This Month

The final expansion to the fantastic arcade shooter Resogun is to be released on February 18, bringing with it a huge amount of new content for players to get stuck into. What's even better is that the last content update for Resogun has been made free to all players.

The upcoming expansion is titled Resogun Defenders and included in it are two modes: Protector and Commando. Protector mode tasks you with defending one of the last remaining human colonies. There are new gameplay mechanics such as the planet flip mechanic and environmental hazards. There are also new power-ups including Super Boost, Teleport and automatic city defences. 

Commando Mode looks especially fun as you get to play as a last human survivor who has been left behind. You must defend your home from the sentient horde with only a mini-gun, jump boosts and your favourite bandanna. Both cooperative and competitive muiltiplayer modes are includes, either defend your home with a friend or try and outsmart them and destroy theirs.

 The original content update 'Challengers' tasks you with playing a specific level of Resogun with different modifications and rules. It changes the existing game up and provides a new experience for players.

As well as this, Challengers provides a Human Gallery Mode and a Photo Mode, allowing you to organise and take a look at your rescued human survivors and capture stunning screenshots in game.

Resogun Defenders will release on February 18 for the small price of £3.99 or will be free for any existing season pass holders.
