Maker of PC peripherals ROCCAT has announced a "revolutionary" new peripheral for PCs at E3 this year. With the advertising tagline "Own the Couch" the SOVA has been unleashed on an unsuspecting world.

Streaming your PC games to a living room television has always meant sacrifice, particularly with wireless devices not manufactured for competitive players. We wanted to create a new instrument, a wireless keyboard and mousepad combo free of heavy latency, made with premium materials with a level of durability players can feel, that allows for hours of interruption free gameplay from the comfort of the couch. It works with  SteamOS, Android, Windows and Mac and has a built in USB port, brushed aluminium base construction, Cherry MX keys x74, per-key illumination, ergonomic palm rest & extendable mouse pad with replaceable surfaces, a mouse cable channel, and padded leg rests.#

Of course, the downside of this invasion of traditional console gamer space will in all likelihood be blood on the walls of living rooms the world over thanks to spousal arguments as to who gets the TV.

And maybe the occasional Blipvert style explosion.
