Rocket League Season Four Bursts Onto the Scene With New Mode
Psyonix are giving us a new arena, specifically for a new mode set to come to Rocket League very soon. The new mode, called Dropshot, has no goalposts. Yes, Psyonix have literally moved the goalposts. The new hexagonal arena ‘Core 707’ is the scene for this unique mode, where players must create their own dynamic scoring areas by using an electrified ball to break and eventually open the floor on their opponent's side. The ball gains strength with dribbles and hits, making possession an important factor in this mode. After a goal is scored, the floor closes up again and the action starts from scratch.
In addition to Dropshot, the latest update will also include six new Achievements and Trophies, an all-new Esports "Live Now" button for official streams, the end to 'Competitive Season 3,' and the start of 'Competitive Season 4.' Players who competed in the third season will be granted exclusive Wheel rewards based on their highest competitive skill tier reached.
