RPG, Shooting & Slashing Meet in Retro ASCII Roguelike Free on Steam

Every once in a while, developers or publishers give the opportunity to claim their games for a limited time, offering everyone the chance to pick it up and keep it forever. Though it doesn't often happen with big titles, it's also a great way to fish for hidden gems that you may have missed.

The latest to join these ranks is Gaterooze, Ink and GrabTheGames' Ampersat, a top-down title inspired by retro and Rogue, bringing in roguelite elements and progression to the experience. Take control of the titular character, an at sign (@), who embarks on a quest to free captured letters by battling monsters and finding loot.

Embark on the world of ASCII and free the letters in Ampersat. Do remember that any games claimed through Steam's free-to-keep promotions do not drop Steam Trading Cards, and thus, even Booster Packs.
