Rumor: Horizon: Zero Dawn May be Delayed Until 2017

Guerrilla Games' PlayStation 4 exclusive Horizon: Zero Dawn may be delayed until 2017 if what an industry insider tweeted on Friday is to be believed.

A game that many PlayStation 4 gamers were looking forward to may have to wait till the first part of 2017 before they can get their hands on it. According to a post on Twitter by Shinobi602 this past Wednesday, Horizon: Zero Dawn will be delayed until 2017 because of the new version of the PlayStation 4 also known as PS4k, which is being reporting as having the codename NEO.

Developers have been openly talking about the the new PlayStation 4 and that all games will soon be required to have two different versions within the game. The first version will be for the original PlayStation 4 and the second version will be for the PS4k.

This is currently being classified as a rumor only due to the fact that it has not been officially confirmed by Guerrilla Games or Sony, though the Twitter poster Shinobi602, is known as an industry insider and has reported on many things in that past that later have become confirmed. Below is the actual post.

Neither the publisher nor the developer have yet to state a release date, though we are expecting to hear an announcement during the upcoming E3 this June, and see the game on store shelves this holiday season.
