Scalebound Pushed back to 2017

Last year, Platinum Games' epic dragon-based RPG was due to be released "next year". Sadly, now we hit 2016, the "next year" release still applies as the game will now not be ready in the timescale that the team had hoped. 

In a statement on their official website, the developers admitted that their vision was too ambitious to create in the time they initially planned and as such they will be launching the game in 2017. Whilst this may come as a disappointment to anybody awaiting the game, it does mean that when it finally arrives, if all goes according to plan, it will live up to the high expectations that Platinum are setting.

The title is set to be an Xbox One exclusive which sees you fighting alongside your Dragon companion Thuban.  Boasting a massive open world populated with dragons and other assorted mythical beasts, it promises to be a huge spectacle so we're hoping that it'll turn out to be worth the wait.
