Schildmaid MX will be Launching for Consoles in 2025! Discover More with a New Trailer!

Schildmaid MX was exhibited at the 2024 Tokyo Game Show, where it showed huge inspiration from genre classics. Not only will it be combining a nostalgic pixel art style with some innovative shield mechanics, but it will be putting a new spin on the bullet hell genre.

Players will need to strategically run into projectile to power their special weapons to turn their enemies' attacks against them. You'll need to think quicky while juggling defense with offense. Industry veterans got to take a look at Tokyo Game Show, and praised Schildmaid MX for how it was presented, the unique gameplay mechanics, and the overall design. 

Having been developed by HitP Studio in close cooperation with Eastasiasoft Limited, Schildmaid MX will be launching later in 2025, with pre-orders opening for a limited edition physical release on the Nintendo Switch on 3rd July via Playasia at 4:00 PM UK time. 

The limited edition physical edition will only have 1000 copies produced, and will include the game card, a CD of the soundtrack, a Joy-Con sticker set, and a numbered certificate in the collector's box. You'll also find that standard copies will also be available as an open pre-order.

Schildmaid MX will also be having a digital release on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S later in 2025.
