Sentience is a Sci-Fi Spin on Assassin's Creed's Multiplayer Mode

Free-to-play social stealth title Sentience looks to take heavy influence from the likes of Assassin's Creed : Brotherhood and its 'blend in with the AI' multiplayer mode. Set on Earth, albeit a sci-fi dystopia version of it, the game tasks players with carrying out acts of rebellion without getting noticed by their opponents. If they appear too conspicuous and fail to act enough like the non-rebellious AI, they'll be spotted, spelling defeat.

Matches in this multiplayer stealth title take place across rounds, giving players the chance to play as both the resistance-quelling 'Sentinels' and the newly-sentient rebellious robots 'Rogues'. Check out the release trailer above for a look at the game in action.

Developer Red Meat Games has launched Sentience in Early Access, so it's not a complete experience just yet. However, it is free to play, so there's nothing stopping you from giving it a go. 

Sentience is out now for free on PC via Steam Early Access. Xbox and PlayStation releases are planned for later this year.
