Shots from the Cancelled The Last of Us Animation Discovered Online

Screenshots from the cancelled animated short movie based on Naughty Dog's The Last of Us have been discovered online. The 20-minute short was originally a collaboration between Naughty Dog, Sony and Oddfellows (a contracted content agency).

According to a (now removed) page on Oddfellow's website, the film was going to "retell" the original game's events, giving each significant chapter a distinct art style in the same vein as the Animatrix. For existing fans, it would serve as a loving homage; for newcomers, it would be an introduction to The Last of Us' universe.

Although the page has been officially removed by Oddfellows, it can still be viewed via this cached version.

The Last of Us Part II will release on 29th May 2020 exclusively for PlayStation 4.
