Smite Patch Notes - Ullr The Glorious One

It's that time of the month again and, just before the release of Smite on the 25th of this month, an update has been pushed with a handful of exciting additions.

First off we have a new God added into the game: Ullr, The Glorious One. He's a Norse Hunter class and wields both a bow and dual axes, both with their benefits. Very powerful in later levels and with some rewarding skill shots, he is quickly becoming a fan favourite.

Next up are a duo of God model updates. Aphrodite gets first pickings with her model being slightly updated - nothing too major however, her icon and card no longer match her model which is a tad irritating. Secondly Hades "The Nightmare" skin has been made his default model. The Golden and Legendary skins have reflected this change. The "Classic" skin is still available to everybody that owned Hades pre-patch but others can purchase this skin for 400 gems.

A new player icon has become available too called "Beta Tester". This icon will be given to all players that reached level 10 by 9AM GMT on 25 March, 2014. 

Lastly three new skins have been added: Ullr has an alternative "Strider" skin (it makes his cape red and his beard ginger), Nemesis has had her golden skin added and, the viva la resistance, Sun Wukong has a Star Wars-Themed skin, Dark Lord.
