Space Adventure Cobra Finds Its Way to the Videogame Industry

Developed by Magic Pockets and published by Microids, Space Adventure Cobra - The Awakening is an upcoming videogame where players will be able to relive the events of the manga-turned-anime. The side-scrolling 2D platformer will faithfully recreate the narrative and give players the opportunity to experience it through gameplay.

Throughout The Awakening, players will be able to play through the first 12 episodes of the series, following what is considered one of its most iconic arcs: the Captain Nelson's treasure. The faithful recreation will offer a unique opportunity and perspective into the events, as players take on the role of Cobra and battle through waves of foes.

You won't have to experience the game alone either, as The Awakening also comes with a two-player co-op mode! You can take a friend along for the ride while keeping the experience accessible to newcomers or challenging to veterans.
