Spinal Joins the Killer Instinct Roster
Double Helix have cut their deadline close with today's update to Xbox One exclusive: Killer Instinct. Promising to release new character Spinal before the end of January is a promise they've only just managed to keep, as he's made his way into the game on the very last day of the month.
The character is £4 if purchased individually, or free if you already own the Ultra or Combo Breaker Editions of the game.
The undead pirate promises to spice things up once players get used to his unique abilities. Not only can the swashbuckler absorb projectiles, he can also fire them back full-force in the form of giant skulls.
Spinal is the first of two characters releasing as part of KI's first season, with Fulgore being the second, and eighth character overall to join. Double Helix still have him slated for a March release date.
