Spirit City: Lofi Sessions Revealed 2025 Roadmap & Beyond

Mooncube Games has been very active with their gamified focus tool, Spirit City: Lofi Sessions, as it's received various free updates (with tons of new content), as well as some paid DLC.

In their most recent Steam post, the team gave the community a sneak peek at what's coming. As a quick reminder, these are the ideas the team is confident they can deliver, as they don't like over-promising.

The very first one is at our doorstep, as there's an upcoming small update set for the 29th of September: the next autumn update. Here's what we can expect for this Halloween season:

  • New Halloween Spirit skins.
  • Colour customisation for the previously released Halloween items.
  • Two new activities: painting at the desk and reading by the fireplace.
  • A new spooky-themed playlist from Lofi Girl.
  • New feature: the ability to import MP3, OGG, and WAV files to the in-game library.
  • Productivity tool improvements, such as a progress bar for the To-do list, sorting, and a "reset all" button.
  • A couple of small surprises that aren't elaborated on!

The next update arrives on the 17th of November. This winter update will offer:

  • A new Spirit.
  • A highly requested feature: dresses.
  • New outfits.
  • Static versions of some of the train backgrounds will be available for the bedroom.
  • The Avatar face will receive some highly requested updates: the ability to change ear types and more face shapes.
  • A new winter-themed Lofi Girl playlist.
  • An improved UI, including some button reworks.
  • Timer sounds will have customisation options.

That wraps up what we can expect throughout the rest of 2025, which is a fantastic lineup. While the team doesn't offer specific details, we know a few things about what 2026 has in store: more free updates and paid DLC, and a possible port to the Nintendo Switch!

Spirit City: Lofi Sessions is available now on Steam, and its latest DLC — All Aboard (which we have a review for) — is out now.
