Square Enix Tease Western Released of Dragon Quest X as Company Finances Improve
It's not all doom and gloom for Japanese videogame giants as Square Enix announced yesterday that its profits for the 2014 fiscal year totaled in at around $65 million following on from a fiscal 2013 in which the company lost roughyl $135 million despite predictions of a profit.
Thanks to this financial turnabout, which the company is attributing to the success of its smartphone titles which include Dragon Quest Monsters Super Light and Kaku-San-Sei Million Arthur, Square is considering taking the moderately successful Dragon Quest X MMO out of Japan on Android and Wii U.
Whilst Square-Enix is definitely looking into the prospect of bringing the MMO to other territories they have not confirmed which regions it could launch in or provided any prospective dates.
