Star Trek Online to Memorialise Leonard Nimoy
When it was reported that Leonard Nimoy had passed away, reddit was covered in the news story - perhaps more so than when most actors die. He was well known for playing Spock, the green-blooded Vulcan, on the original Star Trek TV series.
Redditor MrMorlonelycat posted this image to show how players of Star Trek Online paid their respects, by going to Vulcan and gathering in front of the main fountain.

As well as unofficial gatherings of respect to the passing of who some might describe as the co-creator of the Star Trek franchise, Cryptic Studios had this to say in the forum topic about the 83-year old actor.
I want to once again express my heartfelt condolences to the friends, family, and fans of Leonard Nimoy. Everyone at Cryptic Studios was saddened to hear of his passing and we want to make sure we never forget the cultural impact of the man or the character he played. To that end, the Star Trek Online team will implement a standing in-game memorial to Spock and Leonard Nimoy this Thursday March 5th with our regular weekly maintenance.
In this way, we hope to keep his memory as alive in our game as he is in all of our hearts.

Leonard Nimoy lent his voice to Star Trek Online, first helping announce the game before once again playing Spock in the game itself.
As well as Star Trek Online and several other Star Trek titles, Mr Nimoy also voiced Master Xehanort in the Kingdom Hearts games, the narrator in Civilization IV and the titular Seaman.
