Steam Announces the Themed Events for the First Half of 2026

Steam has been taking on the role of creating more fests throughout the year to keep buyers busy in the down periods between the major seasonal events. You don't have to wait for spring, summer, fall, or winter sales to get your discounts, as Valve's new strategy is to create all sorts of themed sales to give you something to look forward to all the time.

Following this strategy shift, Valve is sharing a look at all of the themed sales that you can expect for the first half of 2026, which means that you can know what's coming up nearly a whole year in advance! Here are all the sales that'll be arriving:

January 2026:

• Detective Fest — from the 12th of January to the 19th of January
• Board Game Fest — 26th of January to the 2nd of February

February 2026:

• Typing Fest — from the 5th of February to the 9th of February (Spotlight Fest)
• PvP Fest — from the 9th of February 9 to the 16th of February
• Horse Fest — from the 19th of February to the 23rd of February (Spotlight Fest)
• Steam Next Fest - February 2026 Edition — from the 23rd of February to the 2nd of March

March 2026:

• Tower Defense Fest — from the 9th of March to the 16th of March
• Steam Spring Sale 2026 — from the 19th of March 19 to the 26th of March
• House & Home Fest — from the 30th of March to the 6th of April

April 2026:

• Hidden Object Fest — from the 9th of April to the 13th of April (Spotlight Fest)
• Medieval Fest — from the 20th of April to the 27th of April

May 2026:

• Deckbuilders Fest — from the 4th of May to the 11th of May
• Ocean Fest — from the 18th of May to the 25th of May
