Steam Summer Sale Day One - Kicks Off With a Meta Game
The Steam Summer Sale is here, and it's going for something different. Last year saw everyone being assigned a colour and pitted against each other: the team that made most purchases each day were awarded badges and such.
For 2015, Valve have made a new game! Two things: it isn't first-person and it's only for a limited time.
The game is a clicker game - what that means is 'click over and over and over on the enemies'. Because monsters are attacking and can only be repelled by hundreds of thousands of Steam accounts!
But wait, there's more!
Playing the game will reward you with Steam Trading Cards to go towards a badge. Playing more will upgrade your badge and allow you to help your team. Helping your team goes towards several milestones which unlock special 48-hour discounts.
But, what of Day One's deals? There's the Metro Franchise, the GTA Franchise, the XCOM Franchise and the Sniper Elite Franchise. And check out the other deals!

Not very enamoured with the selection so far... Even the Milestone games are titles that are always discounted often during the seasonal sales...
