Suda 51 Praises PlayStation 4 Hardware

Acclaimed game designer Suda51, responsible for bizarre titles such as killer7, Lollipop Chainsaw and more recently Killer Is Dead, has praised the PlayStation 4 for its hardware capabilities.

In an interview with Famitsu, Suda especially makes it clear that he is impressed by the "speed" of the Sony hardware:

The most impressive one to me so far has got to be 'speed'. As a video game console, that's the part that stood out to me the most for the PlayStation 4. We make games, so we want to make them fun, and we also put a lot of effort into making them as appealing as possible. In order to do that, we need hardware that can show 'speed'.

When it comes to making games, having this 'speed' available as an ingredient really puts us at ease. Even as we currently develop, we can really feel the response of having it available.

Suda51 joins the increasing list of high profile developers impressed by the PlayStation 4. Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima also recently praised it and claimed it could run the upcoming Metal Gear Solid V: Phantom Pain in 1080p and 60fps with "room to spare".

Currently, Suda51 is working on PlayStation 4 title Lily Bergamo which he describe as a "super action game."
