Swedish Retailer Lists Metroid Prime Trilogy for an Imminent Release
The latest Metroid Prime rumour comes courtesy of Swedish retailer, Inet. A listing for the Metroid Prime Trilogy on Switch appeared on the site (since removed) with a release date of 19th June.

While nothing has been confirmed, there are signs that point towards this being a genuine listing. Typically, false listings on retailer sites use placeholder release dates; 19th June does not seem like a placeholder. In fact, the closeness of its stated release adds some credibility to the listing, considering Nintendo's light product lineup so far this year and its surprise announcement of Paper Mario: The Origami King—another game announced very close to its release.
Many believe that a re-release of the Metroid Prime Trilogy is inevitable with Metroid Prime 4 in the pipeline. The trilogy has been ported to both Wii and Wii U, the latter of which never even saw a Metroid Prime game of its own. It makes sense that the Switch, with a confirmed Prime game, will also see a version of the trilogy.
Still, it's always worth holding onto a degree of scepticism when faced with uncertain retailer listings like this. For every time the information they list is accurate, there's another time when it all turns out to be a complete fabrication. We can hold out hope, but this is far from conclusive.

And that right there is the ONLY sensible reaction to news of a portable Metroid Prime trilogy.
