Tamriel Unlimited Goes Live Today
Filed under "well that wasn't inevitable was it?" The Elder Scrolls Online has tagged a couple more words onto its title and gone buy to play today.
The Elder Scrolls Online : Tamriel Unlimited is the new moniker of the game and the new features are pretty hefty. Alongside a slew of updates and fixes (a favourite amongst us here at GG is "Cleaning a fish now sounds less obnoxious") there comes the crown store which is more than happy to sell you mounts, pets, potions and other fluff to make your time in Tamriel a little less tedious.
There is of course, a subscription option should you choose it, ESO PLUS as it is known gives you 1500 crowns a month to spend, access to all the DLC for as long as your subscription lasts, and bonuses to in game levelling.

As someone who's never properly delved into an MMO, I'm tempted to give this a try now that it's free.

Ooh, good catch... It's not actually F2P, as you have to buy the game itself. I've changed it to say 'buy' instead of 'free'.

It's true, it's buy to play... but the sub is now optional.
It's a very good entry drug for MMOs though
