Tembo the Badass Elephant and More are October's Games with Gold Free Games

October’s four Games with Gold titles - free downloads for people who have an Xbox Live Gold subscription - have been announced. These titles are:

TEMBO THE BADASS ELEPHANT (Xbox One) 1st October - 31st October
Friday the 13th: The Game (Xbox One) 16th October - 15th November
Bolt (Xbox 360) 1st October - 15th October
Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge (Xbox 360) 16th October - 31st October

Game Freak are most notable for their work on the massively popular Pokémon franchise, but they’re also the team behind 2015’s Tembo the Badass Elephant, a platformer where players control (you guessed it) an elephant named Tembo. The game has a focus on combat, with it often requiring a set amount of kills as Tembo to progress to the next area, while mixing things up with some puzzle solving as well.

Friday the 13th: The Game is a multiplayer adaptation of the iconic film franchise, where up to seven players control Camp Crystal Lake counselors as they have to survive against the near-unstoppable Jason Voorhees, using wits and traps to evade the ruthless killer.

The 2008 movie tie-in Bolt has players controlling the titular white dog, as he traverses through different areas using his various dog-related superpowers to fend off a variety of different threats.

Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge is an enhanced version of Ninja Gaiden 3, including the DLC for the previous game along with some additional gameplay fixes and improvements overall. Much like with the other 3D Ninja Gaiden games, this is a fast paced and challenging action title, where players need to utilise Ryu Hayabusa’s quick movements and vicious sword combos to take down an array of tough encounters and bosses.
