The Division Delayed Until 2016
Ubisoft has announced that upcoming third-person shooter, Tom Clancy's The Division, will be delayed until 2016.
The announcement comes as part of the 2014/15 sales and figures report which states that Tom Clancy's The Divisionwill be released in quarter four of the financial year. This means the game will likely come out during early 2016.
The news was quickly followed by the a statement on the game's website:
We have decided to release the game on Xbox One, PS4 and PC during the first quarter of calendar year 2016.
All of us at Massive, Reflections, Red Storm Entertainment and Ubisoft Annecy want to ensure the game not only meets our high expectations but also those of our fans and players alike. We are proud of what we have achieved so far and can’t wait to show you more next month at E3!
Thanks for your support.

During the report, Ubisoft also discussed an as of yet unnamed triple AAA title which will release during the same financial quarter as The Division. This will likely be revealed at E3 next month.
This is the second time The Division has been delayed. After its announcement at E3 2013 where it was given a 2014 release window, it was pushed back into 2015 after a source inside Ubisoft claimed the game had barely started development.
We will likely find out more after this year's E3 in June.
