The Elder Scrolls Online Receives 20GB Patch

The Elder Scrolls Online Receives 20GB Patch

The Elder Scrolls Online has received a huge update with a 20GB patch, readying it for the transition to a buy-to-play model. Massive changes have been made, impacting a number of key features in the game.

These include the gameplay being entirely rebalanced and all skill points and attributes being reset. A new justice system has been put in place, meaning you can now commit crimes that will make you wanted by the law.

Other changes include improved animations, fixes to bugs and audio issues and hundreds of other improvements which can be found in the extensive patch notes here.

One of the biggest new features is the addition of the Crown Store which will be activated on 17th March. The Crown Store allows players to purchase new items, mounts DLC and more. The store isn't there as a pay-to-win means though and you can't buy anything there that you can't get by playing the game.
