The Glast Gambit Update Ushers in New Year For Warframe

2017's first Warframe update for console is free of charge and available to all who completed the 2016 cinematic quest The War Within, and contains a new quest, new cosmetics, new weapons, and a new Warframe: Nidus.

The overarching theme of the update is Infestation. The weapons and Warframe are heavily influenced by the plague that's been taking over the Warframe universe, and it's not unthinkable to see the theme return in the The Glast Gambit questline.

The cosmetics on the other hand don't have their roots in this theme, but are community-made skins that were previously only available on PC. Now console players also have access to the Volt Amp Skin, Volt Arrester Helmet, Mag Orbit Skin, Chroma Tarrasque Helmet and the Excalibur Sentient Slayer Skin, which are all available in the market.
