The July Lineup for PlayStation Plus Gets a Surprising Last Minute Change

In recent years, PlayStation Plus has been at the centre of a lot of PlayStation fans criticisms. From the subscription becoming mandatory to play online matches, to most recently removing PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita titles from the service, there’s been a lot of complaints towards the way the service has been handled and its overall value.

The backlash continued most recently when the July PlayStation Plus games were revealed to be Pro Evolution Soccer 2019 and Horizon Chase Turbo. In an unprecedented move, Sony have made a last minute alteration to the lineup, swapping out Pro Evolution Soccer for 2018’s Detroit: Become Human Digital Deluxe Edition, which also includes 2010’s Heavy Rain.

Detroit: Become Human and Heavy Rain are both interactive story based titles similar to choose your own adventure novels from French development team Quantic Dream and director David Cage.

In Detroit: Become Human players control three different androids, following their own personal struggles with each of them learning to question what it truly means to be alive and human. Heavy Rain has players controlling four different characters who each find themselves caught in a conspiracy to find the mysterious and deadly Origami Killer, a mass murderer who drowns his victims during extended periods of rain.

Detroit: Become Human Digital Deluxe Edition and Horizon Chase Turbo will both be available to download from now until 5th August.

It's certainly better than PES.
