The Nintendo Switch Becomes the Fastest Selling Console in the US

Nintendo had a great year in 2017 and it's now been announced that the Nintendo Switch is the fastest selling console in US history. 

The previous record holder was the Nintendo Wii but now it has been overtaken by the success of the Nintendo Switch. The Nintendo Switch released back in March, 2017 and since then has gone on to sell over 4.8 million units in the US alone. This is an impressive number given that during the first ten months of the Nintendo Wii's life the console only sold just over 4 million units in the US. 

Elsewhere the Nintendo Switch has reportedly sold over 10 million units worldwide. Looks like Nintendo are already off to a good start this year.
