The Surge 2 Pre-Alpha Gameplay Teaser

With the original, The Surge gaining some mainstream success by feeding the gamers need to “git gud” from the genre-defining Dark Souls and Bloodborne, Focus Home Interactive and Deck 13 are back with a sci-fi Action-RPG sequel, appropriately titled: The Surge 2.

In this very short, blink and you’ll miss it, pre-alpha gameplay teaser, you’ll get a look at some of the new environments within the city ravaged by the events of the first game, the gameplay takes part in the Park sector where the player will encounter menacing mercenaries called The Hunters, which roam the man-made forest. But be wary as they are not the only threat as the area is riddled in traps and are protected by out-of-control former park guardians.

The Surge 2 is set to build upon its predecessor to become a more unique experience away from being just a Soulsborne copy. With improved dynamic limb target system, increased character progression, larger level design, The Surge 2 will be more brutal and tactical than before.
