Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE Encore Will Be Censored, Nintendo Offering Refunds
The upcoming Nintendo Switch release of Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE Encore will be censored in all regions, Nintendo have confirmed.
This follows some confusion as to if this enhanced version would be based on the Japanese or Western release. This was due to the screenshots on the titles website showing one of the game's characters wearing their outfit from the Western release. Since then, Nintendo have posted a statement on their Japanese site that apologizes for the confusion and confirms that the title will be censored in all regions on release.
So what is censored in Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE Encore? Well, thankfully its nothing that results in cut content. Most of the changes include some adjustments to character's outfits and their respective age. With the latter being increased to make them older in the Western release.
Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE Encore will be available on Nintendo Switch on 17th January, 2020.

Basically the "censorship" in this game is what happened when it came to the west on Wii U.
They basically gave characters more clothing and aged them slightly so that Nintendo isn't seen advertising a game that sexualises 13 year old girls in bikinis.
I can KINDA see the outrage here because the game is supposed to be a criticism of idol culture in Japan BUT still, 13 year old girls in bikini's being sexualised by characters on screen is...not good.

Just seen what's been changed, everyone is a year older and instead of one dungeon being about getting young girls into lingerie, it is now about dressing up in stupid clothes.
One girl goes from breasts out to being in some kind of Vanilla Ice costume. Another character in early cutscenes performs a song in a corset and thong, it is now a corset and jeans.
