Try Temtem: Swarm for Free in New Demo
Crema's Temtem: Swarm has been growing over the years, as the Vampire Survivors–like title offers a unique spin on the company's IP. What originally started as an MMO creature collector has now evolved into the team branching out the franchise to more genres.
Temtem: Swarm has been in Steam Early Access since the 13th of November 2024, during which period the team has launched numerous content updates expanding on the original release. With the launch of Patch 7.1, even more stuff has been added and — more importantly — a free demo has been released to the public.
The demo itself is back, and it gives players the opportunity to try the game as three different Tems: Platypet, Smazee, and Oree. You'll be able to battle out of the Cipanku arena to try out the gameplay, but the actual content inside isn't all there is.
If you know someone who owns the game, or conversely, know someone on the fence about buying it, you can enjoy the experience with them through the demo. The person who owns the game can play online with those on the demo version, so long as they are playing within the Arenas in the demo without Challenge Mode enabled. This works as a perfect trial to see if you want to commit to the full (or Early Access full?) version.
Once finished with the demo, purchasing the full version of the game will kick you off from where you left off, meaning that you'll get a bit of a head start without having to begin from the start.
