Twinkleby's Release Date Revealed; Check Out the Trailer Here!

Might & Delight, the Swedish developer behind Twinkleby has revealed the official release date for their upcoming cosy decorating game.

In the Twinkleby universe, players are invited to furnish their dollhouses and decorate the surrounding gardens on their floating islands. However, this isn't only about decorating for yourself. There are a host of neighbours who will settle into the houses you design, and you can give them food, give them activities, keep them happy, or if you don't care for them? Evict them by throwing their furniture into the abyss off the floating island.

There's no rush to decorate anything under a time limit, so the neighbours won't be disappointed if players are doing other things. As players get more antiques and garden pieces, they can also throw anything else they don't want onto the edge of the island. However, that won't mean that the items are lost forever, they'll just be returned to your inventory.

Players will enjoy exploring the archipelagos of Twinkleby, inviting you to customise colour palettes, wallpapers, backdrops, dynamic weather, and seasonal shifts. Each choice will transform the look of the island as well as the soundscape. So, the ambience is completely under the player's control. Just follow the star chart to unlock new islands, and find map fragments to uncover more hidden ones.

Gifts and treasures can be gathered as rewards from happy neighbours, or you can purchase them using Stellars (shooting stars) at Molligan's Antiques. There's of course, also gifts from the skies, so it's always good to keep an eye out.

If you want to try it out for yourself, well, good news! Twinkleby will be released on PC, Mac, and Linux, with full Steam Deck support on the 23rd of September. It'll have a RRP of £14.29/$16.99, and has several language support options available.
