Twitch on Xbox One Updating to be More Integrated than PS4
Microsoft have finally announced when users will be able to stream from their Xbox One using the popular streaming service Twitch.tv - just in time for Titanfall.
Until now, Xbox One users have only been able to use the native Upload app to record game clips, or watch Twitch through the Twitch app. The update will come on March 11th, which is of course the same day as Titanfall is being released in North America for PC and Xbox One.
The update will allow users to chat, watch streams from any other device, stream their own game or from their Kinect and most interesting of all - join the game being broadcast.
This is different from the PS4 version of the app, which was created by Sony, which does not allow you to join games. The Xbox One app has been created by Twitch themselves, which is the reason it has apparently taken so long to implement the changes.
