Twitch Plays Dark Souls

Twitch Plays Pokémon was a phenomenon, with users from around the world managing to complete a number of games from the popular JRPG to the delight and amazement of many.

Their most recent venture has proven to be slightly more challenging, however. The notoriously difficult Dark Souls is a stern test at the best of times, not least when multiple users attempt to play it simultaneously. 

With over 16 hours of play at the time of writing, Twitch has, unsurprisingly, failed to progress beyond the game's tutorial section. They have managed to obtain the game's healing item, the Estus Flask, as well as a weapon and a shield.
