Ubisoft's 30th Anniversary Continues With Free Splinter Cell
As part of Ubisoft's ongoing 30th Anniversary celebration, the original Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell will be given away for free via Uplay on PC from next Wednesday, the 13th July.
As announced at E3 2016, Ubisoft are giving a free title every month throughout the year with Sam Fishers original Splinter Cell outing replacing Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time next week. Once you've added it to your Uplay library, it's yours to keep forever.
Splinter Cell originally launched on PC and Xbox way back in 2002 and in many ways was a showcase for the original Xbox hardware with its spectacular shadows and lighting. The series itself spawned half a dozen sequels with the most recent being 2013's Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Blacklist.
Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell will be free from the 13th July 2016 so make sure you grab Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time before then. You can find out more about this offer by visiting UbisoftClub.com.

Hot damn, I might actually have to install Uplay! I never played it originally, so it'll be fun.

I still love the original trilogy, Splinter Cell, Pandora Tomorrow and Chaos Theory. Played them all through again last year and they are still really fun, slightly clunky UI notwithstanding.
I love Conviction and Blacklist too but they don't have that same black ops feel that the original games had in droves! :)
