UnderRail Submerges Itself In A New Expansion

Stygian Software's post-apocalyptic isometric RPG set in a vast labyrinthine network of metro stations and tunnels known as the UnderRail is set to take you out of the underground setting into a... well... submerged underground setting, the Black Sea.

The Black Sea is a massive underground body of water filled with ruins, pirates, hostile natives and perhaps something even more sinister still. The expansion aims to shed new light on the history of the world of UnderRail and the forces that brought it into being.

Stygian Software announced in their developer log that the expansion, UnderRail: Expedition will include:

A brand new story that becomes available during the mid-game

• Over a 100 new area to explore around the shores and islands of the Black Sea
• New factions as well as wild creatures to fight
• New items and crafting recipes
• New skills and feats including new special feats from a new pool available from level 25

Stygian Software expect the expansion to release during the first half of next year as paid DLC. You can read more at the official UnderRail site here.
