Unity Engine Comes to PlayStation Vita
Unity3D announced back in March of 2013 that they had a partnership with Sony based on support for every single one of the PlayStation platforms, in addition to Unity for PlayStation 3. Yesterday they announced that with Unity 4.3, they are releasing Unity for PlayStation Vita to the public.
Developers with a license for PlayStation Vita will now be able to use Unity to deploy to Vita with support for motion sensors, front and rear cameras, dual analog sticks & rear touch pad alongside support for friends, matching and trophies.
Zoink! has just released the first game developed in Unity for both PS3 and PS Vita Stick It To The Man.
We can't wait to see what the various developers will release now that this excellent engine is available for the much maligned handheld from Sony.
