Valkyria Revolution Is Coming West In June

Valkyria Revolution, the latest entry in the Valkyria Chronicles franchise is heading West this Summer. The spin-off deviates from the other titles' turn-based strategy focus by moving to a more action-oriented affair.

Developed by Media. Vision, the team responsible for the previous entry, Valkyria Chronicles III, which was sadly never localised. Valkyria Revolution keeps many aspects of the prior games whilst changing up the pace by moving to a more dynamic combat phase.

The game features a unique painterly aesthetic, distinct from the prior games but still maintaining a canvas-style look. It also includes an upgrade system for weaponry with branching paths for increased strategy in the field.

Revolution features a soundtrack composed by the talented Yasunori Mitsuda, most known for his work on classic 90s Square titles such as Chrono Trigger and Xenogears.

Valkyria Revolution is due for release on the 27th June 2017 in North America and the 30th June 2017 in Europe on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and digitally for the PlayStation Vita. The game will have an RRP of $39.99.
