Valued Staff Leave Halfbrick to Form Prettygreat
A developer, art director and advertiser have left mobile gaming company, Halfbrick to form their own business called Prettygreat to create iOS and Android games and applications.
The developer, Luke Muscat, created the most-known games Fruit Ninja and Jetpack Joyride, these games were one of the top games produced by Halfbrick. The art director, Hugh Walters and the advertisement employee Phil Larsen have also joined Muscat in creating a company for themselves.
The team is calling their studio Prettygreat and considering that the team is built up consisting of the three vital parts of a games brand: Mechanics, art and advertisement; The possibilities for what can unfold could be limitless.
We've sent them an email to ask why they decided to leave Halfbrick and create their own studio, I will update as and when we get a response.
