Vampires: Bloodlord Rising Has a New Gameplay Trailer; Check It Out Here & Learn More About It!

Developed by Mehuman Games and published by Toplitz Productions, Vampires: Bloodlord Rising is an upcoming Early Access title that will allow players to create their perfect vampire life. Adventure out solo (or in co-op), build a castle, and manage a clan to take hold of Sangavia — your human-filled playground.

Embody Dragos, a man who got turned into a vampire and has to come to terms with his new life at the top of the food chain, hungering for those he swore to protect. As players unravel Sangavia's past and go through the story, building and customising their castle, they'll unlock Dragos' abilities.

Here's what you can expect from Vampires: Bloodlord Rising:

  • Step into the shoes of a man who swore to protect the very same town he's now having to feast on.
  • Choices matter — players can become benevolent leaders or tyrannical.
  • Play with friends to play along, building the castle and ruling Sangavia together, as a team.
  • Explore an open world with diverse areas.
  • Fight various enemies and uncover dungeons and dangerous places.
  • Build and customise a multi-level castle, with numerous furniture and decorations to use.
  • Decide who lives and who dies while trying to (or not) balance the hunger with your humanity.

Check out the latest trailer for a closer look at the gameplay! Vampires: Bloodlord Rising will release on Steam's Early Access on the 23rd of October. You can wishlist and follow it now!

I know it's very early, but have Rebel Wolves mentioned whether or not it'll have difficulty options?  I'm wondering if the gameplay is more in the Piranha Bytes or Souls vein.  I enjoy PB/Ascaron/Scrolls type (in the old days, they'd give you 3 choices - Easy, Normal & Hard, & I'd play on Easy.  Now they have so many choices - which I feel is great - I usually play on Easy, one up from the newer Super Easy.).  I understand why people enjoy the Souls games - they're just not for me.
