Vampyr: Concept Teaser

Acclaimed game-development studio Dontnod and publisher Focus Home Interactive are partnering together for the development of Vampyr, a brand new RPG set in 20th century Britain.

The concept trailer for Vampyr sets a dark and ominous tone, as Britain has been ravaged by the Spanish flu. However, the unfortunate inhabitants of London have more than a lethal virus to deal with. As the game's name suggests, vampires are prevalent, and you are one of them.

As a vampire, every citizen in the game is prey, and you must study them, seduce them and then choose whether to feed upon them. Killing your victims will grant you new powers and sustain your life force, but their death will impact the world around you in a meaningful way.

With supernatural vampire powers, RPG elements and a deep crafting system, Vampyr sounds like a unique and ambitious project.

Vampyr is set to be released in 2017 for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
