War Thunder 1.51 'Cold Steel' Update

Gaijin Entertainment has released the 1.51 'Cold Steel' update for War Thunder, which is currently live  after a brief period of server maintenance today. The video above should provide you with a good summary of what's to be expected in this latest update.

The highlight of this 1.51 update is the Finland map, which is the first snow tank battle location for its Ground Forces component. 

From the developers:

The Finland map gives us our first taste of a truly winter environment full of deep snow, icy water and frozen ground. Our players will be wanting to put on their winter clothing for this one, as it truly gives a feeling of the frozen north, never has “Winter is coming” meant so much to us here in War Thunder. Based upon a real location in Finland, we can now recreate the fierce fighting that took place in the unforgiving cold of the north.

On top of that, the players will be getting a handful of new vehicles in the regular research tree as well as premiums, including a trio of end-game tanks (the Soviet T-10M, German Leopard 1 and the US M60 Patton) for all the three tank nations available in-game.
