Warner Bros. Has Teased a New Batman Game

The Batman: Arkham series has become somewhat legendary at this point for being one of the first videogames to accurately capture the feeling of being a superhero within a high quality product. However, the series has gone dark in recent years, with 2015’s Batman: Arkham Knight seemingly tying up the loose story threads in a neat little bow.

Now, Batman appears to be making a comeback, with WB Games Montréal teasing a brand new Batman game on its official Twitter page. The tweet includes a short video of four different symbols, with the text “Capture the Knight”. Of course this doesn’t leave fans with much to go on, but the upcoming State of Play may reveal more details.

While Rocksteady was the developer behind three of the Batman: Arkham titles, WB Games Montréal was behind the prequel title Batman: Arkham Origins. Despite not being quite as well received as the other entries, critics seemed to agree that it was still a solid title for fans of the series.

Batman: Arkham Asylum, Arkham City and Arkham Knight are all currently free on the Epic Game Store, along with LEGO Batman, LEGO Batman 2 DC Super Heroes and LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham.
