Watch the Dev Diary for the Upcoming VR Game, Human Within!

Developed by Signal Space Lab and Actrio Studio and published by the former, Human Within is an upcoming VR game that blends films and videogames. In their first Dev Diary, the developer talks a bit about what players can expect from their upcoming title, including the different ways the story will be presented.

Before I talk about it, I'd like to explain a bit more about the game's setting and story. Human Within's concept arose from movies like Lawnmower Man and Transcendence, and it centres on the idea that AI and technology could become threatening to our very society.

Now, in a quick summary, this is what the Steam post says about the game! Starting off, the user's involvement will be through one of the main characters' consciousnesses — Linh's. Whenever players explore her past, they will get to immerse themselves in a 360-degree stereo film, and whenever the events are in the present, everything will be in a digital void. Choices will also have consequences, as they will determine how the branching storyline will end.
