Weird West Revealed at The Game Awards 2019

At The Game Awards 2019, players got a peek at Weird West, the surreal action-RPG/Immersive Sim from WolfEye Studios and Devolver Digital. The development studio is formed of people behind the critically acclaimed Dishonored series and Prey reboot and promises to continue growing the hyper reactive, choice-based gameplay that made those games so unique and popular.

Set in a stylised re-imagining of the Wild West with a sizeable helping of supernatural creatures spicing up the wilderness, Weird West tells the story of a group of mismatched heroes who'll make a name for themselves as they journey through and decisions in the savage and 'weird' American west.

Of course, self-expression through gameplay is the bread and butter of the Immersive Sim; players can choose to team up with a posse or go solo. They can also react to the peculiar, high-stakes gameplay situations in any way they see fit.
