When Are the Arcane Skins Returning in League of Legends?
League of Legends' Arcane is nearing its one-year anniversary since the finale of the series, and with the numerous seasons came several limited-time skins that players are no longer able to acquire. For those who arrived late and missed out on them, the team is bringing the Legacy skins back for a limited time during the celebration of the Arcane anniversary!
There have been two batches of League of Legends skins that released during the runtime of Arcane: the first set with the launch of the first season during 2021 and then the second with the final season in 2024. These weren't marked as Legacy skins at the beginning, and were then retired from the store, without a mention of when we'd be able to see them again, but we now have information about when we can get them back!
If you're looking to learn about which skins you can get and when they'll be back, we've got you covered!
Season 1 Skins
Five Total Skins

During Season 1, a lot of the skins were given away for free to players who were enjoying Arcanealongside playing the game. These were five skins that you could acquire for the cast of the show: Jinx, Caitlyn, Vi, Jayce, and Ekko; it wasn't that many, and the whole cast wasn't featured, but it did include some awesome lore-accurate versions of the characters.
Here are all of the Season 1 skins and their pricing.
- Arcane Enemy Jinx (975 RP)
- Arcane Enforcer Caitlyn (975 RP)
- Arcane Undercity Vi (975 RP)
- Arcane Inventor Jayce (975 RP)
- Arcane Firelight Ekko (1,350 RP)
Season 2 Skins
10 Total Skins

League of Legends changed a lot during the period between Season 1 and Season 2, and 10 total skins were prepared for the launch of the final season. This did include a far more comprehensive list of all the characters that were champions at the time (Mel and Ambessa Medarda excluded since they weren't out at the time), and different pricings for each of them.
Here were all the skins — and their equivalent pricing — launched during Season 2.
- Arcane Brawler Vi (1,820 RP)
- Arcane Commander Caitlyn (1,350 RP)
- Prestige Arcane Commander Caitlyn (2,000 Mythic Essence)
- Arcane Survivor Jayce (1,820 RP)
- Arcane Shimmer Lab Singed (Limited-time Event, uncertain if it will be sold)
- Arcane Last Stand Ekko (1,350 RP)
- Arcane Vander Warwick (1,350 RP)
- Arcane Savior Viktor (1,820 RP)
- Arcane Professor Heimerdinger (1,350 RP)
- Arcane Fractured Jinx (Gacha with pity at ~32,000 RP)
The list is a bit more confusing in this section because there are some that we don't have official confirmations regarding their return — while we know that "all" Arcane skins are returning, two particular ones leave questions in th air: Arcane Shimmer Lab Singed, which was a limited-time event skin for those who played Jinx Fixes Everything, and Prestige Arcane Commander Caitlyn, which is likely to make a return to the Mythic Shop, but we haven't had official confirmation.
It's also worth noting that Arcane Fractured Jinx was the first gacha skin to drop in League of Legends, and it'll be coming back, marking it the first Exalted skin to make a return. It'll be interesting how the first Sanctun rerun banner will return, but it's also worth noting that the skin is coming with several upgrades, including new recall for two of the versions, a match-beginning animation, and unique chompers.
When Are the Skins Returning?

The skins are officially set to return for the one-year anniversary of the Arcane finale during November on Patch 25.23, which, according to the Patch Schedule, should be on the 19th of November, though there's a non-zero chance that there might be a rescheduling of this should issues arise. Until then, however, you can expect them to drop in on that date, and we weren't given information on how long they'll be available for.
