When Does Little Nightmares Enhanced Edition Release and How To Play It Immediately

The recent Little Nightmares showcase shared a look at what's to come to the franchise, and fans have been ecstatic to see so much content and love being given to the series. One of the exciting announcements, aside from the official release date of the upcoming Little Nightmares III, is the remake of the original entry launched back in 2017.

Bandai Namco surprise-announced Little Nightmares Enhanced Edition on the showcase, launching on the 10th of October 2025, but there's also a catch for this title. Not only is it not currently available individually on Steam (which might have confused some gamers), but it's also able to be played right away.

It's a bit confusing, but bear with us: despite the fact that Little Nightmares Enhanced Edition is set to launch a few months from writing, it's actually entirely playable right now, and it isn't via pirating. While you can't directly search or find Little Nightmares Enhanced Edition without going through some hurdles (here's the Steam link for those who want to see it), you can actually start your playthrough immediately.

Little Nightmares Enhanced Edition is available through the Little Nightmares III pre-order bonus. If you buy the latest entry before its launch, with the standard edition costing £34.39 and the Deluxe Edition priced at £50.12, you can get the remake to the original right away. This means that, currently, it's one of the lengthiest Advanced Access pre-order bonuses you can get.

According to SteamDB, Little Nightmares Enhanced Edition was priced at £34.39, which might be the official pricing once the game comes out of its pre-order bonus state. This means that by purchasing Little Nightmares III, you get a two-for-one special, making it a pretty big no-brainer to pick it up.

This is enhanced by the fact that Little Nightmares isn't at a discount for the Steam Summer Sale, which is a shocker considering this is one of Valve's seasonal sales of the year. It might get a discount throughout the year; the last time it had a 75% discount was during Steam Next Fest June 2025, but it's all speculation.
