When Will the Butcher's Bridge and Rotating ARAM Maps Start in League of Legends?

When Will the Butcher's Bridge and Rotating ARAM Maps Start in League of Legends?

It's been a few years since the ARAM community has been asking — nay, begging — for the return of the beloved Butcher's Bridge. Anyone who plays League of Legends and has stepped foot into a well-versed community will find that the vibrant community has been begging for two things: rotating ARAM maps and the return of the Butcher's Bridge.

While previously, ARAM players used to accept the mantle as League of Legends' second-class citizens, the narrative has been changing throughout the last few years, giving players the opportunity to feel more included with love coming to the game mode. It's come beyond unique balancing changes, too: new maps, new features, and more are arriving in ARAM, as Riot Games experiments with what works and doesn't in the community.

It's no surprise, as ARAM logged some of the highest match counts, surpassing other queues. And now, after years of begging from the Burning Tides event back in 2015, the Butcher's Bridge is back nearly a decade later, and it's here with the other highly requested feature: rotating maps. ARAM Ranked when?

Now, this isn't exactly out at the moment, but ARAM is going to be enjoying the changes very soon. If you want to start your journey exploring the Howling Abyss (the standard map), the Butcher's Bridge, and the new Spirit Blossom–themed one — Koeshin's Crossing — you can do so on the 25th of June 2025, when the newest patch launches.
