When Will the Monster Hunter Rise Demo Leave the eShop?

Judging by how the eShop fell flat on its face upon the release, you're probably aware that there's a demo available now for the upcoming Switch-exclusive Monster Hunter Rise, revealed in the recent Monster Hunter Digital Event (shown above). Giving players a taste of all 14 weapons in either solo or online co-op—as well as the Wyvern Riding mechanic—through two quests and a training area, the demo provides a decent taster for the game prior to its release on the 26th March.

Sadly, it won't be available forever; it won't even be available up until the game's launch. The Monster Hunter Rise demo will leave the eShop on the 1st February 2021 at 8am GMT. It's unlikely you'll be able to play the demo at all after that point, even if you've already had it downloaded. There's no time to wait, then, if you're eager to check out the sights of Monster Hunter Rise and dip your toe into the culture of Kamura Village.

The Monster Hunter Rise demo will run until the 1st February at 8am GMT. Following that, the full game will release on the 26th March 2021.
