Wii U Basic Gets Price Cut
The Wii U Basic has received a price cut in the UK according to MCV. It seems that many retailers are offering the basic 8GB version of the console for a reduced price, also bundling games with the console as well.
Here are some particular offers:
- Amazon - Wii U Basic 8GB with Mario Kart 8, Super Mario 3D World, Wii Party U & Nintendo Land £199.99
- Game- Wii U Basic 8GB with New Super Mario Bros U £159.99
- Zavvi - Wii U Basic 8GB with Super Smash Bros Wii U & Nintendo Land £189.99
The premium edition of the console has not had a price cut and nor is the price of the basic bundle an official price cut. Saying this anyone wanting to purchase a Wii U should consider these bundles for the great savings they offer.

Depends what your looking for really, I find it has the best collection of games that you can't find on any other platform. Although if your after a console for 1st and 3rd party then it's probably not a good choice.
