WipEout Omega Collection Headlines August's PlayStation Plus Offerings

A new month of free PlayStation Plus titles is among us, with this month's offerings including WipEout Omega Collection and Sniper Elite 4.

WipEout Omega Collection was released in 2017, combining WipEout 2048, WipEout HD and the HD Fury expansion into a single collection. WipEout is a fast paced futuristic racer, where players speed through 26 different tracks in the fastest time. Players can race both locally and against seven other players online. The collection also features full VR support for those with a PlayStation VR headset.

Sniper Elite 4 is a third-person stealth shooter which also released in 2017, where players will have to pick off groups of enemies applying both tactics and precision to dispatch of enemies as efficiently as possible. Most notable to the Sniper Elite series is the X-Ray kill cam system, which gives players a grotesque X-Ray view of a fatal blow in a way that’s not too dissimilar to Mortal Kombat’s fatality system.

Both of these titles will be available to download for PlayStation Plus subscribers from 6th August - 2nd September.
