Witcher 3 Hits 4 Million Copies in Sales
CD PROJEKT RED has announced in a blog post thanking fans of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt as it surpasses the 4 million copies barrier, in a little more than 2 weeks.
The game is nothing short of a huge success, winning rave reviews with many. They've also mentioned that they are hard at work producing free content and worthy expansions, so expect the experience to get better and better.

May 19th was a crucial date for all of us here at CD PROJEKT RED — we released The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, our open world role-playing game that we had been hard at work on for over 3 years. Since day one, you have given us tons of positive feedback and support — the sheer volume of emails we’ve gotten since launch simply congratulating us for our efforts is both epic and heartwarming, and I wish every developer comes to have such a fantastic community. By all accounts, the sales are due to it being an amazing game rather than a sequel. I know, hard to believe! If, and only if, you create a game that's actually amazing, then people will flock to it.
I guarentee there are people who have never heard of Geralt who went out and bought a copy because of fantastic reviews.
